# Monad

> EVM asset identifiers and supported operations on Monad.

Monad is supported for onramps, offramps, and swaps. Like Base and Polygon, it's an EVM chain — assets are plain ERC-20 contracts. The end-to-end flows live in the [Onramps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/testing-onramps.md), [Offramps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/testing-offramps.md), and [Swaps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/testing-swaps.md) guides.

## Supported operations

| Operation | Supported |
| - | - |
| Onramp (fiat → token) | ✓ |
| Offramp (token → fiat) | ✓ |
| Swap (token → token) | ✓ |

## Asset identifiers

Monad assets are identified by the **raw token contract address only**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Do not prefix with a symbol.** Using `SYMBOL:0x...` (the Stellar-style format) on an EVM chain returns `UnsupportedBlockchain`. Pass just the `0x…` address from [`GET /ramp/assets?blockchain=monad`](https://docs.etherfuse.com/api-reference/assets/list-assets).

## Stablebond addresses

Live token-contract addresses for every stablebond on Monad, each linked to the explorer:

## Offramps

Monad offramps follow the same EVM pattern as Base: selling an ERC-20 requires a one-time `approve()` before the offramp order. The ERC-20 approval endpoint and gasless offramps are rolling out per chain (currently Base) — see [Base → Offramps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/chains/base.md#offramps-approve-the-token-first) for the flow, and contact Etherfuse to confirm availability and gas requirements for Monad.
