# Avalanche

> EVM asset identifiers and offramp setup on Avalanche.

Avalanche C-Chain is supported for onramps and offramps, including MEXe. Like Base and Polygon, it's an EVM chain with ERC-20 assets. The end-to-end flows live in the [Onramps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/testing-onramps.md) and [Offramps](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/testing-offramps.md) guides.

## Supported operations

| Operation | Supported |
| - | - |
| Onramp (fiat → token) | ✓ |
| Offramp (token → fiat) | ✓ |
| Swap (token → token) | ✗ (available on [Stellar](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/chains/stellar.md), [Solana](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/chains/solana.md), and [Monad](https://docs.etherfuse.com/guides/chains/monad.md)) |

## Asset identifiers

Avalanche assets are identified by the **raw token contract address only**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Do not prefix with a symbol.** Using `SYMBOL:0x...` (the Stellar-style format) on an EVM chain returns `UnsupportedBlockchain`. Pass the address from [`GET /ramp/assets?blockchain=avalanche`](https://docs.etherfuse.com/api-reference/assets/list-assets).

## Stablebond addresses

Live token-contract addresses for every stablebond on Avalanche, each linked to Snowtrace:

## Offramps

For an Avalanche offramp, the customer signs and submits the returned `burnTransaction` to bridge the tokens to Solana for redemption. The customer needs AVAX for gas and the bridge fee. Include the transaction's supplied `value` when submitting it.
